Cart Attendant

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist golfers with their bags and equipment
• Staging carts; cleaning and checking carts after each use and returning carts to be charged at the end of their use for the day
• Ensures that carts are available for player us at all times, windshields are clean and seats are dry
• Work closely with the Pro Shop during tournaments
• Ensure the cart barn and clubhouse exterior are kept orderly and clean, including trash receptacles, shoe brushes, doorways clear of leaves and grass
• Washing station is to be kept clean – no grass or debris
• Cart barn floor is to be kept clean with the use of a blower
• Report all cart damage to the supervisor and Pro Shop Attendant
• Collect and return carts to the designated area after use
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise
• Assist with setting up and taking down events or tournaments
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for guests
• Relieves other employees on a timely basis
• Open and close the driving range daily, make sure ropes are set up in fresh spot each morning
• Check and fill all water coolers on the course daily
• Other duties as assigned, including tasks which support the essential functions that may change or be redesigned

Requirements

• Use excellent customer service skills, establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and all members of the general public
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
• Able to lift 50 pounds
