Cashier

Job Summary: Our client, a prominent manufacturing and distribution company, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in any field and proven experience in cash-handling or cashier roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the POS system, handling payments accurately, providing excellent customer service, and supporting daily sales operations. Responsibilities: Operate the POS system to process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately. Handle all payment types, including cash, cards, and mobile payments. Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers promptly. Verify cash float at the start and reconcile cash at the end of each shift. Report discrepancies, shortages, or overages to management. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Assist with daily sales reporting and secure handling of cash deposits. Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service. Follow company policies for cash handling and transaction processing. Requirements Proven experience as a cashier or in a cash-handling role. Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting principles. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Good communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in any field.
