Catering Site Lead

About this role

Our Catering Operations Site Leads are natural team players who guide Zerocater’s On-Site Specialists with the goal of maximizing the team’s performance and facilitating excellent client experiences. While ensuring that every meal goes off without a hitch, you’ll get the benefit of building relationships with clients, many of which are exciting tech startups like Zerocater. You are a subject matter expert and enthusiastic spokesperson for Zerocater because you agree that the best ideas happen over food. The ideal person for this role is thoughtful, empathetic, and brings a smile to work every day.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for our clients; answering any questions or issues they may have
  • Conduct pre-shift preparation tasks and delegate shift responsibilities to appropriate team members
  • Ensure Zerocater standards are being exceeded with every meal served
  • Serve as an executive decision-maker around meal issues utilizing your ability to think quickly on your feet
  • Schedule new On-Site Specialists to shadow current employees while ensuring consistency in quality and level of service provided

Qualifications for success:

  • 1-2 years experience in a team lead or management position with a background in hospitality, food service, or similar customer-facing role.
  • Track record of being a true team player, willing to work together and help others out to ensure smooth execution.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic highly desired
  • Responsible with strong attention to detail and can work effectively with little to no supervision.

  • Able to lift at least 40 pounds
  • Able to kneel, crouch and bend
  • Able to walk up and down flights of stairs
  • Able to stand & walk for 3-4 hours on shift

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Schedule:

  • You must have availability to work Wednesday - Thursday 9:30am-2:00pm
    You will have a set schedule each week 
  • You may be able to pick up additional shifts when available

Compensation:

  • You will work part-time, at $24.00 per hour
  • $15.00 monthly stipend for cell phone usage
  • 401k match with immediate vesting
