We are seeking a CDL A Truck Driver (independent contractor) available on an as-needed basis to support our operations. This role requires flexibility, as scheduling will vary with short notice (approximately 1-day in advance). Expect to work a few hours per week, depending on business needs.

Hours: Varying, typically between 1 and 6 hours per week during testing phases
Schedule: On-call with short notice (about 1 day), in general between 9 AM and 5 PM
Duties: Operating a Fuel-Cell truck for local test drives.

Valid CDL A license
Reliable availability for short-notice assignments in Temecula, CA
Safe driving record
Here’s what to expect:
You will be called on an as-needed basis to drive our Fuel-Cell trucks around the block near our facility. Over time, you may be asked to operate the truck on more challenging local roads, such as the freeway. During each drive, you will typically be accompanied by engineers or technicians who will be collecting data. You will be asked to share feedback on drivability and how the truck feels to drive, based on your previous driving experience.
Your services will likely be required between Mondays and Fridays, generally between 9 AM and 5 PM. There will be downtime between test loops to allow engineers to make adjustments, during which you will be free.

This position offers a compensation of $45 USD per hour. It is a 1099 contract role, requiring only a few hours per week. Please note that company benefits are not included with this position.
