Investment Banking

 

Nomura's Investment Banking department is a leading global player offering a comprehensive range of advisory and capital-raising services to clients. Nomura's Investment Banking team specializes in mergers and acquisitions, equity, and debt capital markets, and restructuring and financing, with a strong track record of success and exceptional service to clients across industries. Through its global network and expertise, Nomura's Investment Banking department is well-positioned to continue driving growth and delivering value to clients in the financial industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the origination and execution of investment banking transactions, with primary focus on M&A advisory mandates across China, including inbound and outbound cross-border deal flow;
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including creating materials to support pitching and assisting in client relationship development;
  • Liaise with senior bankers and sector/product teams across Hong Kong, Singapore and other offices on deal execution and business developments;
  • Review and quality-control work product prepared by Associates and Analysts, providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.

 

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of Investment Banking and Corporate Finance experience;
  • At least 3 years of experience in China-related deal origination and execution;
  • Experience in building relationships with Chinese Corporate & Institutions;
  • Proven ability to lead deal teams and manage multiple workstreams;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
