What this opportunity involves:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of an exciting sub-regional retail asset. Reporting to the Retail Portfolio Manager, you will oversee a dedicated building management team and be responsible for delivering exceptional outcomes for our client, retailers, and the broader community.
This is a strategic leadership role requiring someone who thinks two steps ahead, understands the fundamentals of retail asset management, and is committed to driving performance excellence whilst maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service.
Please note: This position is Part-Time, 4-days per week.
An overview of the role:
· Lead and manage the Retail Manager, Operations Manager, Marketing Manager, and Property & SML Manager
· Coach, develop, and performance-manage your team to achieve high standards
· Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture
· Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and forecasts
· Strategically consider tenancy mix and attract retailers to drive asset value
· Identify opportunities to increase sales, foot traffic, and maximise return on investment
· Manage all aspects of lease compliance including rent, outgoings, turnover rent, and tenant recoveries
· Ensure accurate and timely billing processes and maintain up-to-date tenancy schedules
· Aggressively manage arrears and debt collection
· Manage Casual Mall Leasing bookings and third-line revenue streams
· Provide superior client service through regular meetings and timely, accurate reporting
· Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, the Owners Committee, community groups, and local authorities
· Maintain the highest standards of repair, cleanliness, safety, and security
· Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, OH&S requirements, and JLL procedures
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
· An Agents Representative Licence or Real Estate Licence
· Proven experience managing a sub-regional retail asset
· Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team
· Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of asset management fundamentals
· Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
· Strategic thinker who is proactive, results-driven, and detail-oriented
· Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
