As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team, overseeing a specific station within the kitchen and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your passion for culinary excellence and attention to detail will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards in food preparation, cooking, and presentation are consistently met.
- Execute menu items with precision, adhering strictly to established recipes and specifications to maintain quality and consistency.
- Actively contribute to menu development by bringing forward innovative ideas and culinary creativity to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior kitchen staff, providing clear guidance on culinary techniques, operational efficiency, and industry best practices.
- Manage inventory levels for your station, ensuring effective stock control, timely replenishment, and minimal waste.
- Uphold strict compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate closely with the broader kitchen brigade to support the successful execution of large-scale events, banquets, and special functions.
- Foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture that promotes teamwork, high performance, and mutual respect.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Formal culinary training or a degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, various cuisines, and food safety standards.
- Availability to work morning shifts (breakfast service)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with team members to achieve common goals.
- Fluency in Greek and English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
