Assists engineers and scientists with a variety of laboratory tasks | Performs chemical and/or physical analyses or scientific tests using both routine and special techniques in compliance with all safety and infection control standards | Collects, analyzes and processes laboratory samples | Records results of tests, organizes data, performs basic computations, and prepares reports and analyses using standard procedures and guidelines | Installs, operates, maintains and repairs laboratory test equipment, apparatus, systems and supplies
Perform all work in compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Follow all Process Safety Management (PSM), Responsible Care, and Emergency Response requirements.
Identify hazards and use appropriate PPE, including respirators, as required.
Ensure permits are completed prior to work activities.
Safely handle chemicals and waste materials in accordance with OSHA and RCRA regulations.
Operate process equipment, including reactors, pumps, valves, forklifts, and chemical dispensing systems.
Participate in safety programs, training, inspections, housekeeping, and safety committees.
Maintain accurate EHS&S documentation and submit incident reports as required.
Operate reactors, work tanks, heat exchangers, homogenizers, and chemical distribution systems safely and efficiently.
Execute the production plan while meeting quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Perform SAP transactions, inventory movements, cycle counts, and production documentation.
Monitor and maintain raw material and finished goods inventories.
Operate DeltaV and other process control systems.
Conduct in-process and finished product testing, including pH and halogen analysis.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with ISO 9001 and company standards.
Coordinate operator coverage and support daily production scheduling needs.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform routine housekeeping.
Inspect and properly use required PPE.
Complete assigned training by required deadlines.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage changing priorities.
Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset.
Ability to perform mechanical and process-related operations.
Experience operating manufacturing process equipment such as vessels, valves, PLCs, and flowmeters.
Manufacturing experience required.
Forklift and hoist operation experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and DeltaV systems preferred.
Ability to climb and descend stairs regularly.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to wear a respirator and other required PPE.
Ability to work extended shifts of up to 12 hours.
Flexibility to work multiple shifts as needed.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $43,600.00 and $63,943.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
