The/Nudge works towards a ‘poverty-free India, within our lifetime’. We do it alongside the government, and India's most promising social entrepreneurs.
Our economic inclusion work supports 10+ government partners across 9 states, reaching 1.5M people. Our portfolio of 250+ social entrepreneurs, including 3 Earthshot Prize winners, 21 Forbes 30-Under-30 and 17 Acumen Fellows, serves 100M. Our work is enabled by 140 philanthropists, 40 corporates and 15 foundations.
The/Nudge Foundation USA exists to raise resources, especially diaspora capital, for our poverty alleviation work. We have 6 people across the Bay Area, New York and Boston and are now looking for a CEO to build upon this base and scale to its full potential.
Responsibilities
- Strategy: Own the strategy for US giving, esp. diaspora philanthropy.
- Team: Build and lead a distributed HNI fundraising and workplace giving team.
- Relationships: Deepen our engagement with existing partners, and build new ones, leveraging the board, advisors and circle members.
- Operations: Drive with clear goals, pipeline discipline and accountability.
- Marketing: Connect our work to the philanthropic goals of the diaspora. Represent the organisation at relevant forums.
- Collaboration: Work with the cross-functional partner teams in India to make it work.
Requirements:
- Clear intent to work on India’s development needs.
- Successful and progressive fundraising/BD experience.
- High result orientation, with a strong growth and learning mindset.
- Willingness to travel extensively, within the US and internationally, including regular trips to India.
