Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Baltics & Denmark Region

Kronospan Baltic Limited, a leading international manufacturer of wood-based panels, is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Baltic holding in Riga.

Mission:
To drive financial strategy, performance, and value creation across Latvia, Lithuania, and Denmark, acting as a key partner to the CEO in strengthening business efficiency and supporting growth and transformation initiatives.

We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven leader with a hands-on mindset – someone who combines strong international experience with the confidence to challenge, decide, and deliver impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Location: Daugavgrīvas šoseja 7B, Riga
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site
Salary: Starting from €5,000 gross/month

Main responsibilities:

• Lead and align financial strategy across multiple countries – mainly Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark

• Drive financial performance, transparency, and control

• Support investments, expansion, and transformation initiatives, with focus on cost control and CAPEX preparation, taking into account the OPEX component

• Drive a structured value creation agenda across the region

• Oversee M&A activities, including evaluation, execution, and integration

• Manage relationships with banks and financing partners at an international level

• Optimise and actively manage working capital and cash flow across entities

• Drive sales price discipline and margin optimisation

• Oversee CAPEX planning, budgeting, and investment control

• Lead fixed cost optimisation initiatives across the region

• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR and Procurement to enhance efficiency and cost control

• Participate in supplier evaluation and negotiations

• HR cost optimisation

Your profile:

• CFO / Finance Director with strong international track record

• Background in industrial or manufacturing environments

• Proven ability to operate within multi-country structures

• Hands-on, pragmatic, with the ability to balance strategy and execution

• Business fluent English is essential

• Strong negotiation skills and result-driven mindset
