Location: Brunswick, ME (Hybrid)
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000

The firm provides comprehensive site design, surveying, and permitting services to both public and private sector clients. Originally focused on the Brunswick region, Client has played a key role in developing Mid-Coast Maine and has successfully expanded its portfolio to projects across the state through its commitment to quality, professionalism, and exceptional client service.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer – Project Manager to lead site/civil engineering and land development projects from concept through design, permitting, and construction support. The ideal candidate will manage client relationships, oversee technical design, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams on commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site/civil engineering projects from concept through construction support.
  • Prepare site layouts, grading, utility, and erosion & sediment control plans.
  • Design stormwater management systems.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and contracts.
  • Prepare permit applications and technical reports.
  • Attend site visits, municipal meetings, and public hearings.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support business development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • 4–8 years of site/civil engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with commercial and residential land development.
  • Maine PE License preferred.
  • Experience with local and state permitting requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (HydroCAD preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and attend public meetings.
