Class 4 Delivery Driver
About this role
This a full-time, permanent, hands-on role that combines delivery driving with warehouse operations. Based at our hybrid Vulcan site in Mosgiel, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and with great service.
Hours will be approximately Monday to Friday 7am-5pm (minimum of 40 hrs) with a possibility of some overtime once trained, which is paid at time and half!
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 4 flat deck truck to deliver steel and aluminium products safely and on time
- Spend one night away from home per fortnight as part of the delivery schedule
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Work safely and contribute to a tidy, well-organised site
- Support general warehouse and stores operations as required
What You'll Bring
- Full Class 4 driver’s licence (mandatory)
- Forklift licence and experience would be an advantage
- Warehouse, stores, or stock handling experience is preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to support a small team
- Currently residing in NZ or holding a valid work visa
- Willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug screen
