About this role

As part of Richardson’s global agriculture and food business, our food and ingredients division plays a central role in connecting farm to table through our vertically integrated supply chain. As a leading pasta manufacturer, Richardson produces a wide range of high-quality dry pasta products for diverse markets and end uses.

We currently have opportunities for Cleaning Technicians across several areas of our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta. These roles are responsible for sanitation, food safety, and operational support across the production floor, warehouse, and general facility areas. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform sanitation and cleaning duties of various areas (may include production areas, warehouse spaces, common areas, offices, restrooms, locker rooms, and exterior grounds) 

  • Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule, sanitation checklists, and HACCP requirements 

  • Identify, monitor, and report product protection risks, sanitation deficiencies, pest activity, and facility and equipment conditions 

  • Assist with daily operational tasks as needed (such as receiving and distributing packages, stocking supplies, shipping, etc.) 

  • Follow all safety procedures, food safety policies, and standard operating procedures 

 

Qualifications: 

  • At least 18 years of age 

  • Able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution 

  • Experience in manufacturing, food manufacturing, sanitation/cleaning, or warehouse operations 

  • Experience using basic computer programs and functions 

  • Experience operating material‑handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, scissor lift) 

 

Physical Requirements:  

Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: 

  • Crouch, stoop, kneel, reach above shoulders, bend, balance, climb, work on ladder, push, pull, grasp, feel, perform fine manipulation, operate foot pedals, lift/carry, sit, stand and walk for extended periods 

Shift: 6am-2:30pm

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Starting Pay: $18.50/hr
