Programmed Facility Management has recently been awarded a new contract at Tropicana and Sunrise Dam, and we’re expanding our housekeeping team to support ongoing operations.

Working on a 2:1 FIFO roster out of Perth, this role is suited to candidates who understand the demands of FIFO work and high-volume cleaning environments.

The Opportunity

As a Cleaning Utility – Housekeeping, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accommodation rooms and village facilities to a high standard.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, where attention to detail and consistency are critical. Your work plays a key part in delivering a clean, safe, and comfortable “home away from home” for residents on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain accommodation rooms, bathrooms, and village facilities
• Make beds, strip and replace linen, and manage laundry processes
• Ensure all areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within required timeframes
• Use and store cleaning chemicals safely and correctly
• Maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies
• Report maintenance issues and support site standards
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to meet daily targets

About You

You’re a reliable, hard-working team player who understands the demands of working in a FIFO or high-volume environment.

You take pride in your work and are comfortable in a role that is physically active, repetitive, and fast-paced.

 

You will have:

• Minimum 1 year experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar role
• Previous FIFO or mine site experience (highly regarded)
• Strong focus on cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role (long shifts, manual handling, repetitive tasks)
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow processes and work effectively within a team

Requirements

• Full Australian working rights
• Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current National Police Check (valid within the last 3 months)
• Ability to fly out of Perth (Perth based or can easily commute) or travel from Kalgoorlie
