DESCRIPTION:
As a Client Services Project Manager II at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Clinical Trials Division, you will contribute to ensuring successful delivery of clinical trial projects and exceptional customer service. Working autonomously or supporting senior project managers, you will manage a portfolio of clinical trial projects, coordinating cross-functional activities from study setup through completion while serving as the primary point of contact for clients.

• Manage end-to-end project coordination, including study specifications, timeline development, budget management, and documentation
• Foster proactive communication and collaboration between internal departments and external clients
• Ensure timely delivery of services and products according to client requirements and quality standards
• Monitor project activities, identify and address risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
• Develop strong client relationships while representing their needs throughout internal processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to team members

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience, preferably in clinical trials or pharmaceutical industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: life sciences, healthcare, business or related field
• Project Management certification preferred
• Strong understanding of GMP/GxP requirements and quality management systems
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities with demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects
• Advanced communication and presentation skills; able to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in project management tools and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with relevant systems like Salesforce, GPMS, TrackWise preferred
• Demonstrated financial acumen and budget management capabilities
• Analytical approach with ability to identify and address risks
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and process compliance skills
• Self-directed while collaborating effectively in a matrix environment
• English fluency required; additional languages beneficial
• Travel required 10-25%
• Client-focused with demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $59,400.00–$89,100.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
