Description

Verily is hiring a Clinical Product Manager - Care Solutions to partner with our product team to design & launch AI-enabled cardiometabolic care (including diabetes, hypertension, and obesity). The role serves as a liaison between clinicians, product managers, engineers, and business teams to create engaging, effective, and compliant solutions. You will support all aspects of the product development lifecycle including design, build, release, and optimization. Key responsibilities include authoring clinical requirements for product features, supporting user experience and design, ensuring clinical impact through monitoring product performance.

This role will focus on the patient-facing components of our Lightpath care solution that provides virtual care for diabetes, obesity, and hypertension. You will excel at this role if you have domain expertise in user-centered design, product development, regulatory & compliance, and evidence-based care for cardiometabolic disease. This role reports to the Associate Chief Clinical Officer, Care Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex clinical needs into clear, actionable product requirements. Set clinical vision for key products & initiatives through authoring clinical requirements documents that are based on clinical evidence, best practice, and comply with key regulations.

  • Gather insights from clinicians, patients and other stakeholders to inform product development. Work closely with product, engineering, design, clinical operations, marketing and regulatory teams to drive the product lifecycle.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure products are clinically sound, meet user needs, and comply with relevant regulatory requirements. Ensure high-quality, equitable patient care, optimizing access to care, and enhancing patient safety through data-driven initiatives and process improvements - PDSA cycles Partner with our clinical quality team to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze user feedback to inform strategy, prioritize features, and recommend enhancements.

  • Collaborate with care operations on the development of training materials for our clinicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current clinical license and credential as a MD, nurse practitioner, RN, or RD

  • 5+ years of direct diabetes / obesity care experience via telemedicine or virtual care

  • 2+ years of informatics or medical product/clinical development experience, or equivalent 

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance

​Preferred Qualifications

  • Active credential as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)

  • Experience with Agile development practices and ceremonies. 

  • Board Certified - Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM®) or equivalent

  • Technical training in informatics, public health, health care management or technology-related field

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $186,000 - $280,000 + bonus  + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
