Cloud & Data Center Expert

Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure. Oversee Tier III or higher data center design, operations, and optimization. Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of infrastructure supporting smart systems and applications. Manage hosting environments, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and optimize costs. Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection policies, and industry best practices. Collaborate with application, network, and cybersecurity teams for seamless system integration. Requirements Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud platforms and data center design and operations. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure services In-depth knowledge of data center architecture and operations (Tier III+) Experience with virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud security Understanding of hosting infrastructure for smart city / smart systems platforms Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder coordination skills Preferred Certifications (Optional): AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Azure Architect/Administrator Data Center or Infrastructure-related certifications Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
