The NC Programmer will demonstrate leadership in manufacturing processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives for self & others and this will have the ability to affect short-term & some long-term business goals. Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line with understanding of a concepts, methods, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare CNC programs with (SQDC) Zero deviation in Safety and Quality.
- co-ordinate with process & tooling team for timely availability of drawings, 3d models, MOP & tool list required for CNC program preparation.
- Study drawings, 3d models, MOP, and component setups to identify machining requirements.
- Identify drawing vs 3d model nonconformities and inform to engineering.
- Essential skill requires for CATIA CAD/CAM
- Optimize the tool path to achieve best cycle time on machine.
- Verify the NC codes generated in Catia V5 in vericut simulation software and maintain record of important check points.
- Technical and standard documentation for machine shop
- Co-ordinate with machine operators for smooth machining process execution
- Drive & support Improvement projects for Cost reduction.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in mechanical or production Engineering
- 2- 5 years core experience in CNC programming on CAD/CAM software with Fanuc & Siemens controller
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong EHS & quality focus
- Thorough understanding of Engineering Drawings and GD&T
- Experience in Vericut simulation software
- Experience in turbine & generator Rotor & Casing components
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in Heavy Machining of components
- Depth Knowledge of machining processes and Tooling.
