We are seeking an experienced Commercialisation Project Manager to join our Commercialisation team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile innovation and product development projects that bring new products and improvements to market across our dairy portfolio.


How you will make contributions that matter

As Commercialisation Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of New Product Development (NPD), innovation, product change and commercialisation projects. Working closely with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and Procurement teams, you will drive projects through the Stage Gate process, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and managing risks along the way.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment and enjoys bringing multiple stakeholders together to successfully launch products into market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercialisation of NPD, innovation and product change projects from concept through to launch.
  • Coordinate and influence cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and stakeholder communications.
  • Drive projects through Stage Gate governance processes and maintain project documentation within Accolade.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure accountability across project teams.
  • Identify risks early and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project performance and conduct post-launch reviews to capture learnings and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Australia and global Saputo teams to deliver successful outcomes.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Proven experience managing commercialisation, innovation or NPD projects within FMCG.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience leading projects through Stage Gate or similar product development processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk, solve problems and navigate complex projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business priorities.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and project management skills.
  • A proactive, inquisitive mindset with the confidence to challenge and drive outcomes.

Highly Regarded

  • Dairy, food or beverage industry experience.
  • Experience managing packaging, artwork, specification change or product launch projects.
  • Exposure to international or export projects.
  • Experience using Accolade or similar product lifecycle management systems.
