About this role

Change the world. Love your job.

This is an exciting time to join Texas Instruments in Lehi, Utah. As TI expands its manufacturing footprint, the LFAB2 fab project is a critical part of our long-term growth roadmap and competitive advantage. We are in the early phases of building construction and MERFEI installation, creating unique opportunities to help shape a major factory project from the ground up. We are looking for motivated, capable individuals who want to work on a fast-paced, high-impact project and help deliver a world-class manufacturing environment. The LFAB Commissioning Lead will:

  • Own and manage the facilities expansion site-wide commissioning program, including development and maintenance of the master commissioning plan, system turnover packages, and commissioning schedules
  • Lead QA/QC oversight across all trade contractors, ensuring inspection and test plans (ITPs) are in place, executed, and documented for all scopes of work
  • Drive pre-functional and functional testing activities for all MERFEI systems, building systems, and process support utilities including cleanroom HVAC, ultra-pure water (UPW), chemical distribution, electrical power, and building automation systems (BMS)
  • Coordinate system walkdowns, punch list generation, and punch list resolution in partnership with the Construction Manager, trade contractors, and TI's D&E discipline leads
  • Partner with TI Fab Operations to align commissioning sequencing with tool qualification milestones and operational readiness requirements
  • Establish and enforce project-wide quality standards, non-conformance reporting (NCR) procedures, and corrective action processes
  • Review and approve contractor quality submittals including ITPs, method statements, and commissioning procedures
  • Track and report commissioning progress, open punch items, and system turnover status to TI's Project Manager and key stakeholders
  • Identify risks to commissioning schedule and quality outcomes; drive corrective and preventive actions to resolution
  • Maintain complete and auditable commissioning and quality records for all systems; compile and deliver final turnover documentation packages to TI at project closeout
  • Coordinate with the BIM Information Coordinator and Design Coordinator to ensure as-built conditions and field resolutions are accurately reflected in project documentation prior to system turnover
  • Participate in construction progress meetings, and commissioning readiness reviews as the quality and commissioning lead
  • Standardize processes across the site and roll out and align with global QAQC/CX processes across TI
