Your Impact:

As the Communications Manager for Brazil, you will be instrumental in leading and driving local strategic communication initiatives within a fast-paced, varied and matrixed environment. A key focus will be to translate business strategies and innovative technologies into compelling and engaging narratives that resonate with audiences across Brazil. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate closely with the Communications Lead for LATAM, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, helping to build our external reputation and driving world-class communication outcomes with impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communication Development & Execution: Build and implement local internal and external communications strategies that are aligned with Brazil’s business objectives, while performing global communications priorities.
  • Narrative Crafting & Storytelling: Translate sophisticated technical concepts into compelling, accessible, and impactful narratives for a variety of stakeholders, and with audiences including media, customers, partners, and employees.
  • Local Content & Campaign Creation: Develop a wide range of content and local small-to-mid scale communications campaigns, including thought leadership, key messaging, presentations, blogs, social media content, and media pitches.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting: Handle measurement frameworks to track the efficiency of campaigns and report on their business impact to regional stakeholders.
  • Reputation Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential reputational risks through the development and execution of crisis communication strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Full professional proficiency in Portuguese, English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive professional experience in corporate communications, public relations agencies, or media-related businesses.
  • Outstanding editorial acumen and writing skills, with a validated ability to distil sophisticated ideas into clear, concise, and actionable copy.
  • Proven experience using a variety of digital communication platforms (ie. Sharepoint, Adobe Express) and tools to achieve communication objectives.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools to reinvent processes, optimize workflows, and drive improved communication outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience influencing and collaborating effectively with senior stakeholders across a large, matrixed organization.
  • Existing network of media relationships within the Brazil market.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling external agency partners and departmental budgets.
  • A growth mindset coupled with a demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and champion innovative communication approaches.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, and an outcome focused teammate.
