AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF), Singapore, to build and anchor deep national capabilities in AI. AISG is supported through a government-wide partnership including the NRF, Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Economic Development Board (EDB) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG). We bring together research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies to support impactful research, develop talent, and power Singapore's AI efforts.
This position will be hosted at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) under VP (Artificial Intelligence & Digital Economy)’s office and we welcome you to join our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Event planning and promotion
Plan and execute regular and ad-hoc online and offline community events (e.g., webinars, AMAs, meetups, workshops).
Support industry and community-building activities stemming from, but not limited to, AIxTech, AIAP, AIAP (Industry), LADP, and AIIP programmes.
Community engagement and support
Act as the primary point of contact for community members on online community platforms.
Respond to user inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high satisfaction.
Monitor brand mentions and sentiment to identify potential crises, escalating them according to guidelines.
Coordinate with a roster of technical staff to facilitate community support.
Work with internal stakeholders to align community strategies with broader business goals.
Manage member onboarding and nurture relationships to improve retention.
Build followership of online community platforms and social media pages.
Content creation and management
Adapt content from internal/external resources and coordinate content writers to develop insightful, engaging narratives.
Constantly test and optimise existing content and calibrate best practices for engagement and lead generation.
Manage community comms and editorial calendar that supports the acquisition and retention of community members.
Insights and reporting
Gather member feedback and identify key trends to report to internal teams - industry development, marketing, programme and curriculum development.
Monitor and analyse community metrics to evaluate engagement levels and ROI, with emphasis on consistent growth and engagement.
Requirements:
Degree with at least 3 years of experience in DevRel, community operations, corporate communications, hospitality management (e.g., co-working spaces or guest relations), or digital communications role in an agency.
Platform-savvy. Knowledge of media platforms and community engagement tools, as well as marketing automation and digital communication tools.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
Provide portfolio, website, links to communities managed, or other samples of work.
