Job Title: Compliance Officer
Job Location: Bucharest, Romania
Main Responsibilities:
Review contractual terms and business arrangements to identify potential compliance risks and provide practical recommendations.
Conduct compliance assessments for business and sales projects, with a focus on anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, improper business conduct, and other key compliance risks.
Support compliance monitoring activities, inspections, and risk assessments to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of compliance training materials, case studies, and awareness initiatives.
Support the planning and delivery of compliance training and communication programs.
Help maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
Coordinate compliance-related meetings, monitor action plans, and follow up on outstanding compliance matters.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a strong culture of ethics and compliance across the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Internal Control, Audit, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
Good understanding of compliance risk management principles and risk assessment methodologies.
Knowledge of key compliance areas, including:
Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC)
Competition Law
Financial Compliance
Trade Compliance
Third-Party Compliance Management
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
Fluent English and Romanian, both written and spoken.
