We’re looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we’re searching for a Content Planner Series SVOD in our Stockholm office – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?
As Content Planner Series SVOD, you will play a key role in shaping our SVOD content offering. You will own the planning and selection of series and non-scripted content, translating our portfolio strategy into engaging and commercially focused monthly and quarterly line-ups.
You will work across genres, categories and editorial initiatives to create a balanced and coherent content offering, making sure we maximise the impact of our titles and deliver the best possible viewing experience.
In this role, you will:
Select and prioritise series and non-scripted titles in line with our annual content plan and portfolio priorities.
Translate strategic priorities into clear monthly and quarterly content line-ups with a strong commercial focus.
Balance new releases, returning series and library content to create a compelling and consistent SVOD offering.
Use performance data and local insights to refine selections, sequencing and exposure and continuously improve planning decisions.
Track title-level performance and viewing development, adjusting plans based on insights and results.
Collaborate closely with Content Curation and local programming teams to ensure plans are editorially executable and aligned across territories.
Support cross-genre initiatives, themes and editorial spotlights through structured planning.
Identify gaps, risks and overlaps in the content plan and translate these into clear requirements for Acquisitions.
Contribute to improvements and optimisation of our planning processes and tools, including AirTable.
You will work closely with colleagues across Content Planning, Content Curation, Content Performance & Value, Acquisitions and local programming teams.
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
Experience working with content planning, programming, content curation or a similar role within the media/entertainment industry.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use performance data and insights to inform content and planning decisions.
Experience translating strategic priorities into structured plans and actionable line-ups.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations and requirements.
It’s a bonus if you have:
Experience working with AirTable or similar planning/management tools.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
Experience working with SVOD, streaming services or digital content environments.
A can-do attitude, sense of humor and the ability to work humbly with others.
We’ve got you covered! 30 days of paid vacation every year, an attractive pension and insurance scheme, and generous parental leave pay lift.
Your wellbeing matters. We provide you with various wellbeing initiatives including wellness allowance.
A safe space to grow and up-skill. Our learning culture puts you in the driver’s seat of your own development.
Entertainment is what we love, and entertainment is what we do. So, unlimited access to Viaplay seems only fair for you to get to know the product – including series & viewing events, new release movie rentals, linear channels and more.
