As a Contracts Manager – Level 3 located in San Diego, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
We are seeking a highly qualified, pivotal people leader to influence and enable the strategic direction of the Propulsion and Aerospace Structures (PAS) Operating Unit (OU) headquartered in San Diego within the Mission Enabling Products (MEP) Business Unit (BU) headquartered in Redondo Beach. This individual will have effective contractual management purview over the OU, defining the art of the possible from day one, while also fostering strong stakeholder management. The candidate selected will join our team of talented individuals, be a key member of the operating unit leadership team supporting the PAS OU Director and be a direct report to the MEP Business Unit Sr. Manager of Contracts.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading a team of contracts professionals who will be strategizing and conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiations and administration and customer contract activities. Ensuring proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal and customer requirements.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $159,500.00 - $239,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
