General Information/Job Summary
Work within the I/E & Control Systems Department. Work on control systems engineering and designs for large industrial projects in midstream gas processing, petroleum refining, petrochemical, and upstream oil & gas industries.
Responsibilities/Competencies
- Act as a control systems engineer for selected projects.
- 10% - Interact with other engineering disciplines, engineering and construction project managers, and clients
- 5% - Provide input to the initial project schedule and support the regular maintenance of project schedules for designated projects.
- 20% - Work process quality review and drawing approval in the capacity of a lead engineer.
- 40% - Responsible for PLC/DCS Programming and HMI configuration.
- 25% - Perform Software Factory Acceptance Tests and Hardware Acceptance Tests for the plant control system.
- Provide man hour and equipment estimates for project proposals.
- Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities.
- Self-motivated with ability to work with others.
Requirements
- BS. in Electrical Engineering or B.S. in Engineering with equivalent I/E & control systems experience required.
- 5+ years' experience required, 10+ years preferred.
- Must have Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and Wonderware HMI development experience.
- Delta V Programming experience is a plus.
- Industrial networking experience is a plus.
- Should be a self-learner and willing to go extra mile to accomplish tasks.
- EIT licensure required or the ability to get licensed after joining the company.
- Must have trouble shooting skills.
- Must have commissioning and start-up experience.
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
