The Corporate Insurance Coordinator will provide support to the Corporate Insurance Manager and the Risk Management team by acting as an internal and external point of contact regarding the Company’s insurance program. This will include continual learning about the insurance portfolio, administration of insurance program enrollments, updates and renewals. The nature of this work would require the individual to be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
 
This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to effectively prioritize and complete daily tasks, and desire and capacity to learn. Prior work experience with corporate insurance, including commercial policies, is preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) preferred.

Experience: Prefer 2-5 years of experience with insurance broker, carrier, or TPA; or with an employer; related to the corporate insurance policy(ies) and/or program management.

Travel: 0-20%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists Corporate Insurance Manager to monitor the insurance portfolio.
  • Learns about the various forms of insurance coverages making up the portfolio.
  • Assists with insurance policy procurement and renewals, including completion of applications.
  • Provides insurance policy review and analysis, in relation to real world issues.
  • Tracks loss runs and provides insight to trends.
  • Acts as a liaison to insurance brokers and carriers.
  • Advises departments as to insurance needs and applicable coverages.
  • Acts as a company-wide resource on addressing all insurance- related questions and concerns.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
