Corporate Strategy Manager
Our central function Strategy, business development & Sustainability is looking for two corporate strategy managers to strengthen our corporate strategy team. These are newly created roles and offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the development, execution and communication of Essity’s corporate strategy across the organization.
About the role
As corporate strategy manager, you will support the corporate strategy director in driving corporate strategy development across business units and central functions. You will contribute to strategy development, execution follow-up, strategic projects and the ongoing development and follow-up of Essity’s Environmental, social and governance (ESG) agenda. The role is centrally positioned, offering broad exposure across the organization and close collaboration with senior stakeholders.
The position is based in Stockholm and reports to the corporate strategy director.
What you will do
Support the corporate strategy process incl. process preparation, process support to business units and central functions and consolidation of strategy content for different audiences (incl. senior management and the Essity board)
Run projects on topics of special strategic importance (e.g. regional geographic assessment, new business opportunities or business models, portfolio expansions or new categories and formulate recommendations on way forward
Perform ad hoc analyses (quantitative and qualitative) and translate insights into clear strategic recommendations for senior management
Support development and implementation of a comprehensive sustainability strategy to deliver on Essity’s environmental and social sustainability goals and ambitions
Design and continuously improve systems, processes and KPIs to track Essity’s strategy execution and performance
Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards and reports for different target audiences
Develop communication assets outlining Essity’s strategic and ESG agenda for internal and external stakeholders
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the function’s deliverables and ways of working according to defined priorities.

You have
A university degree in finance, economics, business administration or a comparable relevant field
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in strategy consulting or an equivalent strategic role.
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights
Solid business acumen and understanding of stakeholder needs across Essity’s industries and products
Experience working with business intelligence or data visualization tools (Power bi, sap) and strong digital savviness overall
Advanced skills in MS office especially MS excel and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
