Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market share, increase profitability, and defend against competition in alignment with global objectives.
• Own and manage the P&L for the region, ensuring financial performance targets are met, and driving cost optimization initiatives.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key market stakeholders, partners, and customers to gain insights, understand needs, and enhance business offerings.
• Lead the transformation and innovation of business processes to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage.
• Foster a culture of customer-centricity at all levels, driving measurable improvements in customer service, retention, and satisfaction.
• Ensure legal compliance and adherence to group best practices and standards in all business operations and processes.
• Develop a sustainable talent pipeline, ensuring the ongoing development of high-performing teams to deliver for customers and create an exceptional workplace for employees.
• Collaborate with global and other regional teams to align strategies and ensure consistent delivery of corporate objectives across the region.

We are seeking an exceptional business leader to join CHEP as Country General Manager, leading one of the most important and strategically significant markets in Latin America. This role carries full accountability for the performance, growth, and long-term success of the Mexico business and a workforce of approximately 300 employees. This opportunity is designed for high-potential leaders who have demonstrated the ability to lead with impact, navigate increasing complexity, and are ready to continue growing their leadership journey.

Reporting to the CEO, CHEP Latin America, the Head of Mexico will play a critical role in shaping business strategy, accelerating profitable growth, strengthening customer partnerships, driving operational excellence, and building a high-performing organization for the future. This leader will also serve as a key member of the Latin America Leadership Team, contributing to the broader regional agenda.

What You'll Do

• Lead the overall strategy and performance of the Mexico business.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, cash generation, and return on invested capital.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies that strengthen customer relationships and expand market opportunities.
• Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement across the business.
• Improve asset efficiency and reduce asset losses through effective leadership and execution.
• Lead business transformation initiatives, including innovation and digital capabilities.
• Build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams while creating strong succession pipelines.
• Foster a culture centered on safety, customer focus, accountability, and inclusion.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to deliver strategic priorities and business outcomes.

• Proven leadership experience with significant business accountability.
• Demonstrated ownership of business performance, including financial and commercial outcomes.
• Strong experience leading growth strategies and transformation initiatives.
• Success operating within complex, matrixed, multinational organizations.
• Track record of building and developing high-performing leadership teams.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships across diverse business environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA or postgraduate business qualification preferred.
