Minimum qualifications and skillset:

  • 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
  • Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Arizona**
  • Current Veterinary Technician Certification in the state of Arizona
    • Confident, reliable, and proactive in fast-paced clinical settings
    • Passionate about delivering high-quality medicine and compassionate service
    • Tech-savvy with excellent communication and multitasking abilities
    • Skilled in patient care, client education, and advanced technical tasks such as:
      • Anesthesia induction and maintenance
      • Dental prophy, radiographs, and charting
      • Venipuncture and IV Catheter placement
      • Digital radiography positioning and technique

El Dorado Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited practice with 3 doctors and 3 credentialed technicians caring for dogs and cats. The 4,900-square-foot freestanding hospital features an updated open floor plan, 3 exam rooms, digital X-ray, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound. The team handles a busy appointment schedule and 2–4 procedures per day, including spay/neuter, cystotomy, splenectomy, tumor removal, and occasional amputation. Team members are expected to take initiative, work efficiently, and support one another, with strong emphasis on cat-friendly handling. Fountain Hills offers beautiful Sonoran Desert scenery, the iconic town fountain, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming community near the McDowell Mountains.

This is a good-faith estimate based on the role's requirements at the time of posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and other benefits depending on role and location. Pay Range
$22—$30 USD
