Description
CRNA opportunity in Raleigh, NC at Rex Hospital. Rex is a private, not-for-profit hospital affiliated with the UNC Health Care System. The hospital consists of 660 beds including a heart center, family birth center, cancer center, convalescent care center, adult care center, and wellness center. The main campus has approximately 40 anesthetizing sites including 24 main operating rooms, 6 procedure rooms, 3 OB suites, 6 procedure rooms and a variety of out of department locations (EP, TAVRs, Hybrid MRI). The Anesthesia Department is composed of approximately 30 anesthesiologists, 70 CRNAs and has an affiliation with the Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia. We practice team anesthesia in a collegial atmosphere that allows us to effectively manage our large and diverse patient population. Our anesthesiologists and CRNAs work in an anesthesia care team approach, meaning that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Total Rewards
Hourly Rate: $175/hour

Responsibilities
• Case assignments: Cardiac, pediatrics, OBGYN, general, plastics, urology, and vascular
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements
• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Must provide Articles of Incorporation for either an "S" Corp or "C" Corp
• Must provide own malpractice insurance coverage for full State Limits

Hourly Rate: $175/hour
