Job description

As a member of team, you will be involved in development of one of core modules of antivirus scanner. The job is about creating algorithms, that can effectively process various file formats, often proprietary with no documentation available. Your tasks will include analysis of open-source code as well as compiled executables, in order to adjust scanner capabilities to unpack or decode  data, which can be later processed by other detection components. You will face various challenges and real world examples, how cybercriminals try to attack computer users and systems. Your input will have actual impact on enhancing security around the globe.

Due to the nature of the project, your job would not only be programming, in clean and safe C++, but also working with documentation of archive formats or performing reverse engineering on them.  Knowledge of analysis techniques is welcome but not required  - we have well established know-how and team of professionals, who can share their knowledge and help you improve your skills in the cybersecurity area.

Technologies used

Microsoft Visual C++, Python, IDA, OllyDbg, JIRA, GIT, BitBucket, Confluence, reverse engineering.

Are you cut out for the job?

We are looking for software engineer with at least 5 years of experience in production grade C++.  If you have previous experience with reverse engineering and/or analysis of binary file formats, it will be great advantage.  You do not need to have any degree to work with us, but we want you to showcase your projects related to programming. We work in international teams, so we require you to have a good knowledge of English.

👉 We work in a hybrid mode - we offer up to 12 days of Home Office monthly.

⭐ Basic wage component: 25 000 - 30 000PLN/month (gross) 

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.

* Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 14% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months).
