We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ballroom Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various ballroom dance styles and a passion for teaching and inspiring students. As a Ballroom Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dance instruction, creating engaging choreography, and fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment. Responsibilities: • Teach ballroom dance styles including waltz, tango, foxtrot, cha-cha, rumba, and more. • Provide individual and group dance lessons to students of all skill levels. • Create and teach choreography for performances, competitions, and social events. • Offer constructive feedback and personalized instruction to help students improve. • Build rapport with students and maintain a positive and supportive learning atmosphere. • Demonstrate dance techniques clearly and effectively. • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliability in all interactions. • Collaborate with other instructors and studio staff to ensure a cohesive team environment. • Participate in studio events, showcases, and promotional activities as needed. Requirements • Extensive experience and proficiency in various ballroom dance styles. • Previous teaching experience in dance, particularly ballroom. • Strong verbal communication skills for clear instruction and feedback. • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students. • Patience and adaptability to meet the needs of students with varying learning paces. • Ability to create engaging and effective choreography. • High level of professionalism and reliability. • Genuine passion for dance and inspiring others. • Customer service skills to ensure a positive student experience. • Team player mentality to work collaboratively with other staff. • Relevant dance certifications or qualifications (preferred but not required). Note: If we are going to cover relocation expenses, the candidate must be at least a bronze-level dancer with approximately 18 months of experience and have significant training in ballet, contemporary, or other dance styles.
