Data Engineer

The selected Data Engineer will join a large transformation program and work under a Project Lead and Data Architect. The objective is to build, optimize, and industrialize scalable data pipelines while ensuring knowledge transfer to the internal Data Engineering team. This role is positioned within a strategic platform migration and modernization initiative. Requirements Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Databricks Manage ingestion from multiple sources into Databricks Implement and optimize ETL processes Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across pipelines Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues Document pipelines, specifications, and best practices Execute knowledge transfer toward operational Data Engineering team Develop and maintain complex transformation logic using Dataiku (including dev vs automation nodes and low-code recipes usage) Must Have: Strong SQL (minimum 3 years Data Warehousing experience) 2026_ENGIE_DatabricksDKUDataEng… Python (advanced level) Proven experience with Databricks (minimum 2+ years) 2026_ENGIE_DatabricksDKUDataEng… Experience with Dataiku AWS services exposure Experience in Lakehouse / Datawarehouse environments Fluent English Fluent Dutch OR French Should Have: Experience in energy market processes Experience in platform migration programs Experience working in Agile environments Nice to Have: Experience with SAS / BW-HANA / Sagemaker migration contexts Knowledge of governance and data security frameworks
