Project Description

The project focuses on transforming and expanding an enterprise data platform. The Data Engineer will help build and scale a Snowflake-based platform and migrate existing Alteryx workflows into governed, production-ready data products. The initial phase focuses on Treasury and Finance, with additional business domains expected to follow.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain data pipelines and data products in Snowflake;
  • Develop data transformation logic using dbt;
  • Support the migration of existing Alteryx workflows to the new data platform;
  • Build and maintain orchestration workflows using Dagster or Airflow;
  • Validate data outputs and investigate discrepancies;
  • Troubleshoot issues related to business logic and data transformations;
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring;
  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, BI, and Data Governance teams;
  • Participate in technical design discussions;
  • Use Cursor and LLM-based tools in the day-to-day engineering workflow;

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with strong hands-on experience with Snowflake;
  • Practical experience with dbt;
  • Experience with Dagster, Airflow, or comparable orchestration tools;
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills;
  • Understanding of data quality and monitoring practices;
  • Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines;
  • Experience with AI-assisted development using Cursor or similar tools;
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
  • Snowflake certification would be a plus;
  • Availability for substantial overlap with US Central Time, especially from 2:00 PM CST onward, is a plus;
