Responsibilities:
As part of the Data Insights team, you will use your excellent knowledge of domestic and international men’s and women’s football to create content for a range of clients in the sports media industry, with the help of the Opta database.
You will liaise with our international Data Insights teams to ensure a smooth workflow of content.
Onsite shifts (live support) at our partner's broadcast studios, where we provide the presenters and commentators with Insights and data.
Content creation as part of a team that produces social media content.
Innovate and display creativity with new ideas on how to use data and enhance its story-telling capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
Fluent in Dutch and English
Living in the Netherlands, within travel distance of our Amsterdam office.
Excellent knowledge of European football, in particular Dutch football, and UEFA Club Competitions.
The ability to produce data-focused editorial content and reports to a high standard.
Understanding of how raw data can be turned into compelling insight and sharable content.
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) is essential.
Willingness to fit the sports schedule, working ‘shift based’ role, featuring weekend and night work. Must also be flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the role in a diverse and multicultural global environment.
Ability to work well to tight deadlines in a highly pressurized environment.
Ability to offer creative and flexible solutions to help develop new ideas and shape innovative data-led products.
