Day Camp Behavioral Aide

Support the mission, purpose, and values of the Kroc Center and The Salvation Army. Work under the direction of the Arts, Education & Camp Manager to implement inclusive integration strategies. Provide flexible behavioral support co campers with disabilities in real-time during structured and unstructured camp activities. Maintain a calm, supportive, and proactive presence when behavior challenges arise. Utilize trauma-informed approaches to encourage emotional regulation and peer inclusion. Support and model inclusive interactions between campers with and without disabilities. Collaborate with Day Camp Counselors to ensure consistent behavior management approaches. Escort and supervise campers using the Calm-Down Room as directed, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
