About this role

As a DeFi Researcher, you will explore emerging protocols, market structures, and trading opportunities across the on-chain ecosystem. You will turn research insights into production-ready strategies and integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain trading systems for DeFi protocols and exchanges using C++20 and Rust.

  • Research, validate, and implement trading hypotheses.

  • Optimize system performance and low-latency execution.

  • Analyze metrics, identify bottlenecks, and improve trading-system efficiency.

  • Explore new DeFi opportunities and integrate protocols and exchanges.

  • Conduct code reviews and maintain high code quality.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of C++20 and hands-on experience with Rust.

  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and multithreaded programming.

  • Solid knowledge of computer networking and low-latency system design.

  • Ability to independently research complex systems and deliver production-ready solutions.

  • Strong mathematical background and analytical thinking.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in DeFi, HFT, or algorithmic trading.

  • Understanding of DEXs, AMMs, RFQs, intents, MEV, and the specifics of on-chain execution, including gas costs, slippage, and latency.

  • Experience developing trading strategies or integrating blockchain protocols.

Current Focus Areas:

  • RFQs and intents.

  • CEX–DEX and DEX–DEX arbitrage.
