  • Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings.     Job Profile Summary

    Delivers prescription orders and products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule. Demonstrates ethical conduct, maintains patient confidentiality, and ensures regulatory compliance standards are met. Manages all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the organization's ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.
  • A Brief Overview
    Delivers prescription orders and products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule. Manages all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the organization's ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.

    What you will do

    • Provides timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies into long term care facilities or patient homes.

    • Loads and organizes products and materials for delivery into delivery vehicle following safety guidelines.

    • Monitors vehicle maintenance and alerts management on maintenance issues.

    • Completes delivery logs and submits supporting documentation.

    • Matches medication to shipment packaging for confirmation of accuracy.

    • Ensures safe operations of all delivery vehicles and compliance with all government laws and regulations.

    • Operates devices and applications for route navigation.

    • Demonstrates professional and ethical standards.


    For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

    • Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills

    • 0-2 years work experience

    • Customer service orientation

    Physical Requirements:

    • Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.

    • Sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.

    • Lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

    • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.

    • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

    • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.

    • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.


    Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$16.00 - $31.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
