Are you a skilled DevOps Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? We're seeking a talented individual to join our growing team in Cape Town! In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, managing, and maintaining the DevOps function for our US division with a particular focus on Azure DevOps, delivering Infrastructure-as-Code and ensuring code delivery across environments to Production is seamless and secure. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting a variety of solutions and being exposed to many learning and development opportunities.

In this role you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving our existing DevOps systems, processes and pipelines. Additionally, you will deliver Infrastructure-as-Code via Terraform, integrate into various projects throughout the year, and present your evaluations and proposals for improvements to senior management.

Every day you will…

Manage and automate code releases across environments into production and look for ways to continually improve and streamline that process with a security-first focus

  • Deploy Azure native objects using Infrastructure-as-Code via Terraform

  • Undertake project work, recommend and implement solutions and collaborate with the project management teams to help deliver projects within a suitable timeline

  • Maintain and support the DevOps function across a rapidly expanding group, with initial focus on the US division - proactively ensuring compliance and universal adoption of chosen processes

  • Ensure changes are appropriately planned, documented and executed using an approved change control process, documenting and testing backout plans and conduction post implementation reviews 

  • Monitor and maintain all solutions in place and ensure all zero-day alerts are actioned in a timely manner

To thrive in this role, you must have...

  • Extensive DevOps experience, specifically within Azure DevOps

  • Release management experience 

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with IIS
