 Link’s 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the fundamentals of logistics real estate. We offer internships across a variety of departments, including Capital Markets, Corporate Communications, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, Leasing and more. 

  

Link is seeking actively enrolled juniors who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in industrial real estate development. The Development Summer Intern will support the team with project reporting, data management, budget and cash flow tracking, documentation management, permitting and utility coordination, and overall project execution support across various stages of the development lifecycle. This role offers exposure to manyall facets of industrial real estate development, from site evaluation, and due diligence, design and entitlement coordination, Financial Analysis, through construction management, leasing assumptions and delivery of completed developments. 

 

What You Will Do:

  • Assist the Development Team with active projects in various stages of the development lifecycle, including site evaluation, due diligence, design coordination, cost estimating, financial modeling, leasing assumptions, construction management, and project closeout. 

  • Maintain project files, trackers, contracts, invoices, and other development records to ensure information is accurate, organized, and readily accessible. 

  • Help establish, track, and monitor project budgets, schedules, and key project milestones throughout the development lifecycle to ensure project records are accurate, organized, and current. 

  • Maintain market lease assumptions and support updates as project budgets, schedules, and market conditions evolve. 

  • Support project documentation and cash flow projections, ensuring key records are accurate, organized, and current. 

  • Assist with project documentation, permit tracking, utility coordination, and stakeholder communications, ensuring project records are accurate, organized, and current. 

  • Support the closeout process for completed developments, including collection of final documentation and confirmation that financial records are finalized. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Current junior, undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution; must be actively enrolled at the time of consideration. 

  • Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, real estate, economics, mathematics, business, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. 

  • Interest in commercial real estate, industrial real estate, development, project management, investment, or construction; no formal experience required. 

  • Basic understanding of real estate investment, financing, market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation, development timelines, schedules, and cost estimation. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with project management tools or AI-enabled applications is a plus. 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

  • High attention to detail and comfort interacting with cross-functional teams and senior-level stakeholders.  

$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
