Perform activities relevant to the Processes area; assist the company's various departments in studying layout changes, process improvements, identifying and realizing cost reduction and productivity enhancement opportunities; execute the validation of new equipment and processes; keep existing process documentation updated; conduct training related to process parameters and quality acceptance criteria; audit production processes; lead improvement projects; guide operations teams regarding quality, productivity, and safety aspects.
Perform corrective and preventive actions for problems related to processes, machinery, and equipment in production areas, implementing defined improvements through root cause analysis and problem-solving tools.
Optimize new and existing production processes using continuous improvement tools.
Issue and revise technical data sheets for processes.
Test new raw materials for potential substitution in existing processes.
Assist departments in studying layout changes, activities, and process improvements.
Conduct applied research activities aimed at acquiring new knowledge to develop or improve products, processes, and systems.
Provide input for the development of new projects, gathering parameters for equipment replacement, expansion, or upgrades, as well as preparing and providing budgets to be allocated in the company's budget.
Execute the validation of new equipment and processes, including the entire documentation and training process.
Identify gain opportunities and implement improvements in processes, machinery, and equipment to achieve cost reduction, increased productivity, greater safety, and quality.
Conduct training related to manufacturing processes and quality acceptance criteria.
Conduct internal rejection investigations.
Lead improvement projects.
Perform critical analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Communicate and consult with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts / Site Manager Specialists) regarding the development of new equipment or facilities under your responsibility, as well as participate in meetings and improvement discussions across West sites.
Execute and ensure that the Change Control and risk processes for projects under your responsibility follow stipulated procedures and metrics.
Ensure that the entire validation process occurs within the metrics and procedures established by the company (Matrix, FAT, SAT, IOQ, and PQ).
Maintain confidentiality of information under your responsibility.
Ensure the preservation and integrity of equipment and tools under your responsibility, reporting any abnormalities to superiors.
Maintain order and cleanliness in the workplace.
Ensure workplace safety.
Know and act in accordance with the Quality Policy requirements.

Observe, comply with, and enforce the duties related to your position described in the Procedures and Work Instructions of your area.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or Technologist (Completed or In Progress).
BACKGROUND: Chemistry, Production Processes, Engineering, or related fields
Advanced English;
Basic knowledge of technical drawing;
Knowledge of measuring instruments;
Knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
