What this job involves: The Director, Consulting will lead and grow the consulting practice across Hong Kong and Taiwan, driving strategic client engagements focused on workplace transformation, change management, real estate optimization, and office relocation initiatives. The role combines market leadership, business development, client advisory, and people management responsibilities to deliver growth, profitability, and exceptional client outcomes.
As a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, the Director will provide strategic guidance on future workplace strategies, portfolio optimization, employee experience, organizational change, and complex workplace transformation programs. The role also requires building and developing a high-performing consulting team while strengthening the firm's market presence and client relationships across Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Market Leadership & Business Growth
Lead the consulting business across Hong Kong and Taiwan, with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Develop and execute market strategies to strengthen the firm's position in workplace strategy, change management, and real estate advisory services.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with corporate occupiers, real estate leaders, HR executives, and C-suite stakeholders.
Collaborate with regional and global leadership teams to drive cross-border opportunities and deliver integrated solutions.
Client Advisory & Consulting Delivery
Serve as executive sponsor and lead advisor on complex consulting engagements.
Workplace strategy and future-of-work initiatives
Real estate portfolio optimization
Office relocation and headquarters moves
Workplace transformation programs
Hybrid working strategies
Occupancy and space utilization planning
Employee experience and workplace effectiveness
Organizational change management and stakeholder engagement
Lead development of strategic recommendations, business cases, workplace visions, and implementation roadmaps.
Ensure consulting projects are delivered to high standards of quality, innovation, and commercial success.
Change Management Leadership
Provide subject matter expertise in organizational change management for workplace transformation and relocation projects.
Design and oversee change strategies covering stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, communications, training, and adoption planning.
Guide clients through the people impacts associated with workplace and real estate change initiatives.
Champion best practices and methodologies to drive successful transformation outcomes.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of consultants and senior consultants across Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive culture.
Provide coaching, career development, and performance management for team members.
Build consulting capability and ensure technical excellence across workplace strategy, change management, and real estate advisory disciplines.
Participate in resource planning, recruitment, succession planning, and team growth initiatives.
Thought Leadership
Establish the firm as a leading advisor in workplace transformation and change management.
Contribute to industry thought leadership through research, client presentations, publications, and speaking engagements.
Monitor emerging workplace trends, technological innovations, and real estate market developments to inform client solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Architecture, Organizational Psychology, Change Management, or related discipline.
12+ years of consulting, workplace strategy, real estate advisory, or organizational change management experience.
Significant experience leading workplace transformation and office relocation projects for corporate clients.
Deep technical knowledge of Workplace strategy, Change management methodologies, Real estate portfolio strategy, Occupancy and workplace analytics, Office relocation planning and execution, Employee experience and future-of-work strategies
Demonstrated success in business development and managing senior client relationships.
Experience leading multidisciplinary consulting teams and managing people performance and development.
Strong commercial acumen and P&L awareness.
Experience working across Hong Kong and Taiwan markets preferred.
Proficiency in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.
