What will your day look like?

You will be responsible for identifying, winning, and leading strategic engagements that turn client-owned data (1PD, CRM, loyalty, customer signals) into executable, measurable action across paid and owned channels. You will elevate client maturity, integrate client data with WPP’s media ecosystem, and partner with agency teams to drive commercial growth. 

This is a consulting and growth leadership role—focused on strategy, client leadership, and solution design rather than hands-on campaign execution or pure platform implementation. 

You will lead senior client conversations to develop integrated Paid Media, CRM, data and AdTech/MarTech strategies. You will translate complex business challenges into practical solutions, help clients maximise and activate their first-party data, and advise on AI, audience modelling and privacy trends. You will identify commercial growth opportunities, lead pitches and proposals, and manage strategic client roadmaps. You will act as the key link between clients, agencies and specialist teams, ensuring solutions are commercially valuable, technically feasible and successfully delivered.

Who are you going to work with?

You will work closely with the Head of Media Solutions Consulting, the wider consulting team and teams across the business, collaborating with client stakeholders, media agencies and specialist data, technology and CX teams to develop and deliver integrated solutions.

What do you bring to the table?

• Experience: 8–10+ years in media strategy, data-driven marketing, MarTech/AdTech consultancy, or agency account leadership (media agency or network experience strongly preferred). 

• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of the end-to-end media campaign process, First-Party Data (1PD) strategy, CRM/CDP ecosystems, data clean rooms, and programmatic media integration. 

• Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of identifying, shaping, and winning strategic consulting work, with the ability to articulate clear ROI projections for C-level buyers (CMO, CTO, CDO). 

• Consultative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead senior client stakeholders through ambiguous, cross-functional problems and guide diverse specialist teams across a matrixed network. 

• Communication: Exceptional narrative-building, proposal writing, and workshop facilitation skills.
