JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
A dynamic and creative leader to helm this transformational and highly visible initiative. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be well-organized, task-oriented, and able to demonstrate exceptional ability in managing clinical, administrative, and community-partnership development requirements. Will deliver integrated behavioral health services to people in our region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct communication with SAMHSA Project Officer as authorized agency representative.
- Directly plan, implement, and oversee operation of the project.
- Demonstrate a team-approach with ability to coordinate with community partners and Centerstone colleagues.
- Represent the project at high-level federal/state/county meetings.
- Hire, orient, and train project staff.
- Provide care consultation and intervention supervision for team members.
- Ensure team maintains up-to-date knowledge of community resources/services for individuals in recovery from SUD, SED, SMI, OUD, and/or COD.
- Assist in coordinating training and professional development for team members.
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements.
- Coordinate with all national, state, and local level oversight entities as required.
- Collaborate with Evaluation to ensure continuous quality improvement and collection/ reporting of all required data.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
- Must value cultural diversity and embrace recovery-oriented trauma informed approaches to help people achieve their full potential.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and familiarity with federal grant requirements/procedures and evidence-based/informed treatment models.
- Proven skills in networking among diverse agencies, and strong planning, administrative, management, and ability to present with confidence to high levels of government and the private health and human services sector.
- Creative thinker who enjoys working as part of a team in a growing, high-energy, transformation-oriented local and national enterprise, and who enjoys motivating others to do the same.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health or a related field required.
Years of Experience
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with individuals with SUD, SED, SMI, OUD, or COD in positions demonstrating increasing responsibility. Must have clinical supervision and management experience in behavioral health, health, or other human services systems at mid-level management or higher.
Certification/Licensure
A valid Florida’s Driver’s License with current automobile insurance is needed. Clinical license preferred.
