Position Summary
The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor reports to the Manager of DC Operations and serves as the primary point of contact for warehouse employees.
This role is responsible for leading a high-volume distribution operation while driving safety, productivity, quality, and service performance. The Supervisor provides leadership and development to warehouse associates, owns key operational metrics, and utilizes data-driven decision-making to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve business results.
The successful candidate will possess a continuous improvement mindset, challenge the status quo, and drive sustainable process enhancements that improve operational efficiency, employee engagement, and customer service outcomes. This leader will partner closely with cross-functional teams to execute operational priorities and support changing business needs across the distribution center.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-12:30 AM (with potential extension to 2:30 AM based on business needs). Occasional weekends as required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop large teams in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.
Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, improve workflows, and enhance operational performance.
Own operational KPIs and drive measurable results in productivity, quality, safety, and service.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements that improve operational performance and efficiency.
Utilize data, metrics, and reporting tools to support decision-making, identify opportunities, and solve operational challenges.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve performance and prevent recurring issues.
Coach, train, and develop employees while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
Lead change initiatives and support the implementation and adoption of new processes, procedures, and operational priorities.
Communicate effectively with employees and leadership to ensure alignment of goals, expectations, and business needs.
Leverage Microsoft Office and operational systems to monitor performance and manage daily operations.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Support operational needs across shifts and departments and changing business priorities.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of leadership experience in a distribution center, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related operational excellence experience.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a unionized environment.
Experience supervising 30+ associates.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Bachelor's degree.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $93,574.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
