About this role
Manage, control, and maintain all project documents, drawings, correspondence, transmittals, reports, and technical records through the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Ensure documents are properly registered, numbered, classified, reviewed, distributed, archived, and maintained according to project document control procedures and client requirements. Coordinate document submissions and approvals between engineering teams, project management, contractors, consultants, vendors, and clients while maintaining accurate document status and revision records. Monitor document workflows, overdue reviews, approvals, revisions, and transmittals, and generate regular document control reports, registers, trackers, and status updates. Maintain confidentiality, document traceability, revision control, and proper electronic and physical filing systems while supporting project audits, handover documentation, and final dossier preparation. Requirements Minimum 5–7 years of Document Control experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction, Infrastructure, or EPC projects in Qatar. Strong hands-on experience with EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum, OpenText, Asite, ProArc, or similar systems. Strong knowledge of document numbering, revision control, transmittals, MDR/document registers, workflows, technical drawings, correspondence, archiving, and project handover documentation. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, with strong communication, coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high volumes of project documentation accurately
