DreamWorks Animation TV Casting is seeking a proactive, organized and efficient individual who is interested in working in casting and talent relations for animated television shows.

Job Description

“What would you say you do here?”

  • Handle multiple phone lines and daily communication with internal and external partners, agents, etc.  (Take messages, check voicemail, etc.)

  • Manage a dynamic, high-volume calendar, including internal and external meetings.

  • Organize travel arrangements and manage expense reports.

  • Prepare meeting agendas and materials, as well as plan events.

  • Provide office admin support including supply orders and arrange for maintenance.

  • Update Administrative Documents, i.e. contact sheets

  • Draft exhibit G's, Taft Hartley's, and SAG Cast Lists.

  • Assist with script breakdowns and line counts.

  • Source actor voice samples.

  • Attend records as needed for production and marketing.

  • Maintain and organize digital files for Auditions and talent clips.

  • Maintain Casting Lists

  • Communicate with agencies

  • Schedule casting meetings with productions, executives and other partners. 

Qualifications

“What do I need to have in order to do this job?”

  • Previous experience in a casting office environment

  • Strong organizational skills, focus and follow-through

  • High-level attention to detail and ability to multi-task in fast paced environment

  • Strong writing skills

  • Superb communication skills (oral and written) with a confident, concise and clear manner

  • Must display ability to maintain confidential/sensitive information

  • Strong working knowledge of applications including Google Mail and Docs, Word, Excel and Adobe

“What can I offer?”

  • Bachelor’s Degree in  related field

  • Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Self-motivated

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
