Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Head to lead the execution and delivery of a large-scale NTPC Solar Project at Bikaner. The candidate will be responsible for overall project management, including planning, execution, resource management, stakeholder coordination, commercial control, statutory compliance, and timely commissioning of the solar power plant.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in utility-scale solar EPC projects and strong leadership capabilities in handling multidisciplinary teams and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of the NTPC solar project from mobilization to commissioning.
- Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
- Ensure project completion within stipulated timelines, budget, quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with NTPC officials, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, environmental, and safety requirements.
- Manage project risks, bottlenecks, and escalation issues effectively.
- Review project progress and submit MIS/reports to management.
- Drive site productivity and optimize manpower and equipment utilization.
- Lead commercial discussions related to variations, billing, claims, and subcontractor management.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and HSE guidelines across project activities.
- Support project handover and closure activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in power/renewable energy projects.
- At least 8–10 years in utility-scale solar project execution.
- Strong exposure to NTPC/SECI/large government solar projects preferred.
- Proven experience in handling MW-scale EPC solar projects independently.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good knowledge of project planning tools, contracts, and construction management.
- Familiarity with transmission systems, substations, and evacuation works is preferred.
