We are seeking a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Architect to lead the design, development, optimization, and modernization of cloud-based Dynamics F&O environments. In this role, you will bring deep technical and functional expertise to support ERP transformation initiatives, guide architecture decisions, and help drive successful implementations, integrations, and migrations to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and optimization of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions in cloud environments.

• Support migration and modernization initiatives from Dynamics AX and legacy ERP platforms to D365 F&O.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical and functional solution designs.

• Oversee ERP implementations and enhancements, ensuring alignment with architecture standards and best practices.

• Design and support integrations with third-party systems and related interfacing solutions.

• Provide expertise across the technical and functional aspects of Dynamics F&O, including solution design, customization, and administration.

• Contribute to architecture and configuration efforts involving Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Online and related modules.

• Support solutioning across Customer Service, Omnichannel, Sales, and Field Service capabilities where applicable.

• Develop and maintain technical design documentation, system configurations, process instructions, and related ERP documentation.

• Guide Starter Kit configuration and customization development activities as needed.

• Utilize development and version control tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub to support delivery excellence.

• Provide technical and functional training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.

• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend effective solutions.

• Collaborate effectively with business, technical, and project teams to foster successful solution delivery.

• Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.

• Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Dynamics 365, Dynamics F&O engineering, architecture, or similar roles.

• Extensive technical and functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

• Hands-on experience with Dynamics F&O/AX migration and modernization projects.

• Demonstrated success in ERP implementation and management, including integration with third-party systems.

• Strong understanding of ERP system architecture, administration, and best practices.

• Experience with system integration and interfacing techniques.

• Background in Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Sales functionality, customization, and administration.

• In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement architecture and customization development.

• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 modules, including Customer Service, Omnichannel, Sales, and Field Service.

• Understanding of cloud technologies and their impact on ERP systems.

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation, system configurations, and ERP process instructions.

• Experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar development and version control tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.

• Experience delivering technical or functional training and knowledge transfer sessions.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
